About Me
My name is Dr. Ruth Boden, and I am so exited to work with you! When I was a young musician I struggled with music theory--it was so complicated and assumed I had more knowledge than I actually did. I have made it a mission to teach all ages how easy and useful it can be to learn music theory. The courses offered here are designed to explore the patterns and history of why music works the way it does. All classes are taught in person via Zoom, and will offer students a chance to ask questions, receive feedback, and walk away with a better understanding of how music theory can change their performance lives.

Since 2000, I’ve been working with students of all ages and abilities and guiding them as they increase their practical and theoretical skills. I love sharing my passion with others and am so grateful that I get to do this incredible job every single day.
